Abstract:Based on the Reynolds-avaraged equations of three-dimensional incompressible fluid and the Spalart-Allmaras one-equation turbulence model,the whole flow of Shaft-Well Tubular Pumping Station was numerically simulated by using SIMPLEC algorithm.The flow pattern in flow channel and the static pressure distribution on the impeller were analyzed to reveal the flow mechanism in the Shaft-Well Tubular Pumping channel.The flow rate and efficiency of the pump device were predicted and compared with the model test results.It is shown that the flow in the out flow channel is a spiral movement combining axial and rotary moving,and blade static pressure distribution takes on a obvious rule with higher static pressure on the lifting surface than on the suction side and denser contour distribution on the suction surface than on the lifting surface.Performance prediction results coincide well with the model test data.
