Abstract:The continuity equation,momentum equations have been solved in staggered grid by Simplec algorithm.A full three-dimensional numerical simulation has been done in the internal flow of the rectangular impellor,the rotor cavity and the collecting pipe.The distribution of velocity and pressure in the collecting pipe and the rotor cavity are shown by analyzing internal flow in the roto-jet pump.Comparing their pros and cons of the five models,especially,the shape of collecting pipe inlet has a great impact on the internal flow.The results show that the long radius axle of the elliptical import in the collecting pipe is consistent with the radius of the rotor cavity.Not too large difference for the long and short radius benefits resolving the cross section sufficient inflow and even reducing the hydraulic losses.The optimization parameter combination is obtained by comprehensive data balance analsis and comparision.The results provide a theoretical basis for the roto-jet pump performance prediction,the optimization design of collecting pipe and analysis of energy losses.
