Abstract: The role of policies in guiding and promoting the high-quality development of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools is worthy of attention. It is of important theoretical significance and practical value to analyze the policy track in the development of Chineseforeign cooperation in running schools and dig out policy trends for future development. From the initial exploration to the implementation of the quality construction project, the policy track of Chineseforeign cooperation in running schools is clearly visible, showing progressive change characteristics from broad to specific, and from scattered to concentrated. Formed in the practice of Chineseforeign cooperation in running schools, pragmatic and stable characteristics of policy design, implementation and evaluation are also reflected in the policy track. However, the development of Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools still faces problems such as the disconnection between school-running practice and policy goals, the lagging of the policy supply, the need to improve policy effectiveness, and the need to deepen policy evaluation reforms.
