During the publication of "Practical Electrocardiography and Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment," all relevant personnel adhered to fundamental work ethics and the necessary norms: honesty, responsibility, fairness, and impartiality. To uphold the ethical standards of high-quality academic journals, this journal has formulated the following publication ethics statement based on the guidelines of the International Publishing Ethics Committee (COPE):
1. Editor's responsibility
1.1 The editor shall ensure the confidentiality of all reviewers and their peer review, and convey the review comments to the author objectively and impartially.
1.2 The editor shall ensure that the academic research and review process is notarized and transparent, and timely correct and proofread when necessary.
1.3 The editor shall evaluate the academic quality and knowledge content of the manuscript without being influenced by any biased decision based on the author's race, gender, geographical origin or religious belief. The editor shall objectively evaluate the manuscript according to its academic value without involving any commercial or personal interests.
1.4 The editor shall not disclose any information of the manuscript before its publication.
1.5 In the process of editing and proofreading, if plagiarism is found in the submitted articles, they should be returned; if fraud is found, the editorial department of this journal will also return them, and publish an announcement of academic misconduct and notify the author's unit.
2. The responsibility of the reviewer
2.1 To give a professional, detailed, constructive, objective and fair evaluation of the scientific content of the author's research work in a timely manner.
2.2 Explain whether the content of the article meets the publication requirements of "Practical Electrocardiography and Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment", and whether it is original and scientific.
2.3 Confidentiality of the entire peer review process.
2.4 Notify the journal editor of any conflict of interest, financial or personal, and decline to review the first draft where there is a possibility of such conflict.
2.5 In assessing the submitted manuscript, any ethical issues are identified, for example, any research that violates animal or human ethics, or any excessive similarity between previously published articles and any reviewed manuscripts.
2.6 If the reviewer finds that there is plagiarism in the submitted article during the review process, the treatment method is the same as 1.5.
3. The author's responsibility
3.1 The manuscript submitted by the author must be original and free from any form of plagiarism or other academic misconduct. The editorial department of "Practical Electrocardiography and Clinical Diagnosis and Treatment" does not accept the author's own dissertation (because the dissertation has been included in major domestic databases, it is regarded as published).
3.2 This manuscript must not be submitted to any other journal or published elsewhere, and multiple submissions are strictly prohibited. If such a situation is discovered, the editorial department will notify the relevant editorial department and withdraw the published article. For manuscripts that are about to be published or are currently under review or editing, they will be returned.
3.3 Any potential conflict of interest must be clearly acknowledged.
3.4 If an individual/company/institution has contributed to this article in other ways, appropriate recognition must be given. When using data, pictures, resources and other content from other sources, permission must be obtained or cited as required.
3.5 Only those who have made a significant contribution to the research of the submitted article should be listed as the first author or corresponding author, while other contributors should be referred to as co-authors. The journal requires that once the manuscript is submitted, the first author and corresponding author of the article should not be changed easily; if changes are needed, all authors must give written consent.
