Abstract:Romhilt-Estes scoring system is generally applied in diagnosing left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH) at the very beginning. Definite and suspected LVHs were defined when RE score=4 and ≥5, respectively. In recent years, it indicates by researchers that the Romhilt-Estes scoring system and its components can predict allcause mortality, sudden cardiac arrest and various cardiovascular diseases. The scoring system is clinically significant for diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases in an early phase.
