Control of penicillin fermentation by type -2 fuzzy logic system

Abstract:The type - 2 fuzzy logic system was established, which was based on broadband effect of type - 2 fuzzy set from the expert experience in fermentation of penicillin. According to the change of pH, the control rule and the feed change of control curve in the fuzzy system were obtained. The results were compared with type- 1 fuzzy system. Simulation results indicate that type -2 fuzzy logic system is superior than type - 1 when the information of controlled system is little.
