Development of intelligent design platform for special vehicle tank

Abstract: To solve the design workload and difficulty due to the large dimension difference of tanks with different functions, the indepth CATIA development was conducted. The special vehicle tank was used as a model to achieve the intelligent drawing of the feature model. Combined with the finite element analysis software, the generated model was optimized and improved. The intelligent design concept was applied to the process of system design, and the knowledge data in the development process was integrated and stored in the designed knowledge base. The database was established by various existing information, and the intelligent design platform of special automobile tank with good interactive interface was developed to integrate the design of special vehicle tank body into the data. The results show that the indepth development of the commonly used threedimensional modeling software can be conducted to realize the intelligent drawing of the target model, and the work efficiency of designer can be greatly improved with shortened product development cycle.
