Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the changes of cardiac chronotropic function in hyperuricemic patients during treadmill exercise test(TET). MethodsThe
research objects were divided into control group(127 cases) and hyperuricemia group(121 cases). The peak exercise time, chronotropic response index(CRI),
recovery percentage of heart rate and systolic blood pressure(SBP) two minutes after rest, recovery time of heart rate and blood pressure back to pre
exercise level, and other indexes were observed and compared between the two groups during TET.ResultsIn hyperuricemia group, the peak exercise time came
earlier and cardiac chronotropic function was worse than that in the control group; the recovery percentage of heart rate and SBP two minutes after rest
decreased if compared with the control group; the recovery time of heart rate and blood pressure back to preexercise level was longer than that in the
control group, all with statistically significant differences. ConclusionHyperuricemic people are prone to cardiac chronotropic dysfunction, which suggests
the fragility of cardiac autonomic nerve function, increased risk of cardiovascular events and poor prognosis. Therefore, enough attention should be paid on
these patients clinically.
