Abstract:Atrial fibrillation(AF) is a kind of clinically common arrhythmia, which can be divided into symptomatic and asymptomatic AF. Monitoring instruments for arrhythmia is various, which can be classified into external monitor and cardiac implantable devices. Despite being applied in diagnosing AF and its type, cardiac implantable devices can also be utilized in guiding the treatment of AF induced stroke and accurately evaluating the recurrence rate of AF after catheter ablation. This paper reviews on the above issues.
