Effect of intra-coronary artery cord blood stem cell transplantation on ventricular arrhythmia

Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of intra-coronary artery cord blood stem cell transplantation on ventricular arrhythmia. Methods Forty coronary artery disease patients determined by coronary arteriongraphy were divided into medicinal treatment control group and stem cell transplantation experimental group. Dynamic electrocardiogram was done before and at 1, 8 weeks after transplantation. Result The arrhythmia scores at 1,8 weeks after transplantation were significantly lower than that in control group and before transplantation(P <0.05 or 0.01). Conclusion Intra-coronary artery cord blood stem cell transplantation may reduce arrhythmia score and the occurrence of ventricular arrhythmia.
