Abstract: SORBS2 is a member of the SORBS adaptor protein family, and is highly expressed in the heart. SORBS2 is involved in the physiological processes such as cytoskeleton formation, cell adhesion and signal transduction. In recent years, more and more studies have shown that SORBS2 plays an important role in regulating the occurrence and development of cardiovascular diseases. Based on summarizing the protein structure and location of SORBS2, this paper reviews the role and mechanism of SORBS2 in the occurrence and development of myocardiopathies including left ventricular non-compaction cardiomyopathy and septic cardiomyopathy, in order to provide new ideas for the prevention and treatment of related myocardiopathies.
