Abstract:Objective To compare the differences of clinical curative effect, safety and operation time between temporary pacemaker guided by ultrasonic cardiogram and conventional pacemaker with floating pacemaker electrode catheter temporary. Methods A total of 90 cases who need emergency cardiac pacemaker were punctured left subclavian vein and divided into group A(52 cases),temporary cardiac pacing by inserting pacemaker leads under the guidance of echocardiogram and group B(38 cases),temporary cardiac pacing by inserting pacemaker leads through balloon floating. Operation time, success rate of pacemaker, pacemaker threshold, the pacemaker leads dislocation rate were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with group B,the operation time, success rate of cardiac pacing and pacing threshold in group A were better than that of group B (P<0.05) with success rate 96.2% and 86.8%, respectively, pacing threshold (0.75+0.32) V and (0.95-0.45)V, respectively. Conclusion Temporary cardiac pacing guided by echocardiogram could obviously be superior to conventional beside temporary pacemaker via floating pacemaker leads in operation time, safety and effectiveness and of clinical value.
