"Journal of Higher Education Management" is a source journal of Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI), a core journal of Chinese language in Peking University, a core academic journal of RCCSE China, and an important reprinted source journal of the "Reprinted Newspapers and Periodicals Materials" by Renmin University of China. It is a national professional journal of higher education management sponsored by Jiangsu University and co-organized by the Chinese Higher Education Management Research Association.

At present, this journal is a source journal of Chinese humanities and social sciences and has been fully included in important domestic and foreign journal databases. It mainly publishes academic papers in the discipline of higher education management, including relevant contents with innovative research results such as the theory of higher education management, the system of higher education management, higher education laws and policies, higher education finance, higher education leadership and capabilities, teaching management in colleges and universities, student management in colleges and universities, and teacher management in colleges and universities.
