q-classification aggregation algorithm in wireless sensor networks

Abstract:To meet the requirements of the tremendous transmission and energy-saving for large-scale wireless sensor networks, a novel aggregation algorithm integrated with spatial information event is presented by establishing a q-classification data structure on the platform of LEACH protocol. Distributed query of data including spatial information could be fulfilled with the algorithm. Computation and analysis on amount of data transmission and accuracy are carried out by developed algorithm, and also compared with the results obtained with conventional LIST algorithm. It shows that the q-classification aggregation algorithm integrated with spatial information event has advantages of energy-saving and balancing of network loads, which guarantees the quality of the network data.
