Seed metering device based on orienting ordered arrangement in embryo and parameter optimization

Abstract:Planting requirement of super-rice is 1 - 2 seedlings per hill, so seeding uniformity and orienting ordered arrangement in embryo are required for super-rice transplanting mechanization. When rice glumes with sliding trend in the opposite direction, coefficient of static friction is larger than in the same direction. These friction properties were used as the basis of designing seeding machines by guided plate and achieving rice seeds array in the same direction when seeding. Based on the device, orthogonal method was used to analyze the effect on rice arrangement, and a set of parameters were obtained. When β =35°, α =21°, A =3.5 mm, ε = 10°,f=3.5 Hz, φn =57.1° and φs =52.6°,more than 85% of rice seed were reached seed embryo ordering. The scope of friction moment between rice seed and vibration plate was between 1.89 × 10^-7 N · m and 2.23 × 10^-7 N · m.
