Abstract:Abstract: Ecocinema studies is not simply limited to films with explicit messages of environmental consciousness, but investigates the breadth of cinema. Looking into a wide range of ecocinema theories and diversified genres, integrating the historical practice of the development of its studies, we should draw our attention to the need for theoretical rigor in the scholarship, and blur historical divisions in genre focus.
