Abstract:ObjectiveTo observe and analyze the clinical indexes of permanent pacemaker implanted in patients with different etiologies.MethodsAccording to the etiology, the enrolled patients were divided into coronaryheartdisease group (78 cases), degeneration group(62 cases) and postcardiacsurgery group (30 cases) The duration of Xray exposure for fixing right ventricular electrodes, ventricular pacing parameters and complications were observed among the three groups ResultsThe observation parameters including Xray exposure time, pacing threshold, sensing and impedance of the postcardiacsurgery group significantly varied from those of the coronaryheartdisease group and degeneration group(P<005) No serious complication occurred in the three groups However, among the patients of the postcardiacsurgery group, the incidence of pocket hematoma a week after operation was statistically significantly different from those of the coronaryheartdisease group and degeneration group(P<005). ConclusionPermanent pacemaker implantation for different etiologies all proves to be safe and effective. However, the incidence of cystic hematoma is high in the patients implanted with pacemakers for conduction dysfunction after cardiac surgery while the Xray exposure time, pacing threshold, and perceptive function and impedance values also increased.
