Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the application value of 12 lead electrocardiogram(ECG) in the diagnosis of pulmonary heart disease(PHD). MethodsA total of 82 patients suspected with PHD were selected, who had been admitted in our hospital from April 2016 to March 2019. They all underwent 12 lead ECG examination. The results of CR chest radiography were regarded as the golden standard for PHD. In the diagnosis of the disease, the accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and positive and negative predictive values of 12 lead ECG were calculated while the ECG characteristics of PHD were analyzed. ResultsAmong the 82 suspects, 74 were diagnosed with PHD by CR chest radiography. In the diagnosis of PHD, the accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and positive and negative predictive values of 12 lead ECG was 90.24%, 91.89%, 75.00%, 97.14% and 50.00%, respectively. ECG abnormalities were found in 68 out of 74 PHD patients by 12 lead ECG testing, mainly including pulmonary P wave, axis deviation, arrhythmia, low voltage, PtfV1 abnormalities, ST-T segment changes and clockwise rotation. ConclusionThe diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity and specificity of 12 lead ECG prove to be high for PHD. It has great value in making plans for diagnosis and treatment.
