Abstract:To improve the efficiency of high-pressure pump and reduce the energy consumption of RO system,the selection and optimization of the high-pressure pump flow channel were carried out.Two kinds of integrated valves with good flow characteristics were designed.Numerical analysis was used.Firstly these models was designed in Solidworks 2007.Then the model was transferred to the preprocessing software Gambit 2.2.30 to be meshed.Finally the meshes were imported to Fluent 6.2 to proceed numerical ana-lysis.The results show that the second scheme has better flow characteristics,less hydraulic loss and higher efficiency.The second scheme was made according to the swirl distribution of scheme two.And a hydraulic end suitable for the reverse optimization osmosis seawater desalination system was obtained.After the design and optimization of the hydraulic end,the pump efficiency was increased to 93.36%,and unit efficiency was over 88%.
