Abstract:The effective promotion of "double high" construction in higher vocational colleges is inseparable from teachers′ innovative behavior. Based on a questionnaire survey of 265 higher vocational college teachers, this study uses multiple regression and qualitative comparative analysis to analyze impacts of P-O fit on innovation behavior. The results show that supplementary fit and demandsabilities fit have significant positive impacts on innovation behavior, and selfdetermination plays a partial mediating role. While needssupplies fit has no significant impact on innovation behavior, it has indirect impacts through selfdetermination. The combination of high professional title and high supplementary fit can promote innovative behavior, demandsabilities fit is the core driving force to promote innovation behavior, and external incentive can be transformed into internal motivation. Higher vocational colleges should formulate goals and tasks of "double high" construction from the perspective of supplementary fit between teachers and colleges; reasonably decompose tasks of "double high" construction from the perspective of demandsabilities fit; establish a scientific and reasonable "double high" construction performance management mechanism from the perspective of needssupplies fit; change the single line managerial thinking and optimize incentive modes of innovative behavior from the perspective of combination.
