Abstract:The present study investigates college students experience in learning specialized courses by conducting questionnaire surveys and interviews of the students of 9 colleges and universities of various levels. The results show that students experience in learning specialized courses was affected by their gender and origin as well as the complex interaction among the specialty, the school year and the type of the school and that their experience was also significantly influenced by their learning willingness and their teachers qualifications. Therefore, we should adjust the content of specialized courses and improve the quality of teaching in order that students can be well motivated in learning.
