Abstract:In order to ensure the reliability of wireless sensor network (WSN) applied in industrial control domain, regarding the retransmission mechanism of common soft fault, reliability functional model was established based on qualitative analysis by using spare parts number of sink node and retransmission times as characteristic quantities. Effects of spare parts number and retransmission times on the reliability were quantitatively analyzed. Quantitative relationships among retransmission times, communication time and energy consumption were built by Markov chains and probability analysis. The WSN in power system was taken as an example to seek solution for the reliability model of sink node. The results show that when the realtime of network transmission and node energy consumption meet the requirements of the power system, the reliability of sink node can reach over 99.9% with two spare parts and three retransmission time, even if the bit error rate is 0.2×10-3.
