Abstract：As manipulation platform of tractor for cab， the design rationality of cab has great effects on harshness, safety, fatigue level and working
efficiency of driver. Taking Dongfanghong LX854 tractor as research object, the software of CATIA was adopted to establish the model of manmachine system.
With the fiftieth percentile as example, the sitting comfort of manikin, the accessibility of steering control board and the working vision of the fifth，
fiftieth， nintyfifth percentile drivers were analyzed. The results show that the manikin sitting comfort, the accessibility of steering control board and
the working vision of driver can meet the comfortable requirements， and the overall layout of tractor cab is reasonable.
