Research progress and key technologies analysis of SCR urea pump

Abstract:Aiming at the mainly existed problems of unstable precision, poor reliability and urea crystallization of urea pump, the research progress of SCR technology and urea pump at home and abroad was introduced. The structure properties of different urea pumps and the pros and cons of different structural types of pump units were analyzed. The key technical problems of urea pump were analyzed mainly including measurement accuracy control, design and manufacturing technology, drive technology, urea spray characteristics, urea crystallization control, control strategies and so on. The results show that the atomization effect of airassisted urea pump with compressed air assisted atomization is much better. The stabilities of pump flow rate and liquid oneway valve are the key to the measurement accuracy control of the pump controlled metering urea pump. The stable pump pressure and the precise injection valve control are the key to the valve controlled metering urea pump. The urea pump research difficulties lie in the quantitative or qualitative analysis of the influence factors of failure modes. The pump unit requires complete sealing and long life in urea pump, and it is better to adopt diaphragm pump.
