Dynamic response on roadbed of low embankment under vehicle loadings

Abstract:To analyse the transmission rule of vehicle load in low embankment in view of the engineering characteristics of roadbed soil and coupling kinetics, a coupling mechanic model for dynamic analyses of roadbed is established. The differential equation for coupling motion is derived. Based on the background of Lianyungang-Yancheng Freeway in Jiangsu province, the variation laws of dynamic response of roadbed under different conditions are investigated. The calculational results show that the vehicle's weight, height of embankment, mode of load and stiffness of base layer of pavement have prominent influences on the vibration of roadbed, but not the velocity. Through the comparison between the numerical values and the spot measured values, the reliabilities of constructed coupling dynamic model of roadbed and method of calculation are validated.
