Abstract:A strategy of parallel regenerative braking force distribution based on the distribution of ideal braking force and proportion control strategy is given by analyzing the working principle of regenerative braking system in hybrid electric vehicles. It can utilize the regenerative braking energy fully and improve the fuel economy of the vehicle. The friction braking force and regenerative braking force are distributed rationally. The average braking force is considered as the target, the coordinates of the key points on the braking control strategy curve are selected as control variable and the control strategy is optimized. Saturn SL1 is selected and simulated under urban 15 drive cycle. Through optimization the parallel braking strategy is proved safe enough and more braking energy can be recycled.
