Abstract:Remote ECG information system plays an important role in optimizing the procedure of ECG examination, improving physicians work efficiency, promoting graded diagnosis and treatment, and timely diagnosing and treating ECGs of serious diseases including acute myocardial infarction, malignant arrhythmia, etc. However, in operation process, some problems such as ECG critical value management, and elevation of ECG diagnosis and quality control need urgent solutions. A perfect ECG critical value management system can be established by compiling and classifying ECG critical values, ranking transmission queue of ECG critical values, making prior diagnosis, marking and making early warning of critical value ECGs, providing technique guidance of treating ECG critical values in primary hospitals, following up patients with ECG critical values, and evaluating the quality of diagnosis and treatment of these patients. The quality control of remote ECG diagnosis can be strengthened by taking practical measures including quality comparison between ECG graphs, quality evaluation of diagnostic report, quality management of time, and establishment of access standards for primary medical institutions linked to ECG information network and their employees. It contributes to improving remote monitoring and followup of severe patients, and sharing quality health resources by establishing and enhancing ECG critical value management as well as quality control system of remote ECG diagnosis.
