Abstract:Oncocardiology as a new emerging branch of cardiology has been paid more and more attention clinically. However, the pathophysiology of tumorinduced arrhythmias is unclear yet. It may be associated with changes of cardiac structure and function resulting from a variety of factors, which include the direct damage of myocardium from primary cardiac tumor and metastatic cardiac neoplasm, the indirect injury of the heart due to antitumor treatment, and systemic dysfunction caused by tumor. By summarizing a large number of domestic and foreign literatures, this paper reviews on the correlation between tumor and arrhythmia.
