The Research on the Challenge and Path of Cultural Adaption about the HighLevel Overseas Chinese Talents in Colleges and Universities |

Abstract When the highlevel overseas academic talents are introduced into Chinese universities and play their roles, there is an intermediate links of cultural adaption, a process generally neglected by policemaking and relevant researches. Based on the acculturation theories, the article argues that the highlevel overseas Chinese talents not only need to adapt to Chinese culture positively but also undertake the duty of organizing cultural construction and reforming institution in the process of blending into the university organization. However, the returned talents confront many crosscultural challenges, such as cultural identity, working styles, management systems and interpersonal relationship, etc. For this reason, on the one hand, the returned talents need adjust themselves positively on cultural adaptation, interpersonal relationship and so on. On the other hand, the university should change the culture cognition on the overseas Chinese talents and reform teacher evaluation system and organization management system.
