Abstract:With the dependent variable selected from open questions in the questionnaire on the development of Chinese university faculty and the independent variable screened with standardized procedures, this study uses T test, F test and regression analysis to make analytical testing of the factors affecting university faculty′ satisfaction, and finds that: with the promotion of individual development, work autonomy, work achievement and money, university faculty′ satisfaction with the faculty evaluation system is rising; the faculty′ satisfaction may be different with their characteristics; differences in seniority, age, individual development and work autonomy may be accountable for the significant difference in university faculty′ satisfaction; seniority, age, individual development and work autonomy are the first four factors that influence faculty satisfaction.
