Abstract:There is no doubt about the value and significance of the objective existence and construction of the disciplines in the undergraduate level vocational school. The undergraduate level vocational school should belong to the vocational skill type university on the management; the vocational discipline should be the main discipline in the vocational skill type university. Therefore, the development of vocational disciplines is the internal request of discipline construction in the undergraduate level vocational school. The vocational discipline is not a specific one, but a "professional" oriented one, using knowledge, especially technical knowledge to solve the key problems in professional posts. The undergraduate level vocational schools should construct vocational disciplines from five aspects: to enhance the research ability to highlight the value of the discipline; to create the internal nuclear force to highlight the technical characteristics of the discipline; to strengthen the driving force to implement the professional guidance of the discipline; to emphasize the support force to build the discipline based on majors; to attach importance to the guarantee force to promote the orderly development of the discipline.
