Abstract:Reconstructing the scientific research productivity evaluation method of social science teachers in colleges and universities on the basis of systematic reflection is conducive to reversing the bad guidance in the current scientific research evaluation and liberating the social science scientific research productivity. The article analyzes the connotation and evaluation purpose of scientific research productivity of social science teachers in colleges and universities. On this basis, the article makes a multidimensional reflection on the evaluation of scientific research productivity of social science teachers in colleges and universities. The study finds that the current scientific research productivity of social science teachers in colleges and universities in China is falling into the evaluation dilemma that the "individual adaptability" development ability is ignored, the "internal adaptability" innovation ability is obscured, and the "external adaptability" scientific research value is difficult to show. The pursuit of quantitative assessment and scientific research output, and the lack of valueadded scientific research evaluation concepts and regulation are the main reasons for the evaluation dilemma. Therefore, it is necessary to seek the reconstruction theory of the evaluation of university social science teachers′ scientific research productivity: to change from "appraisal" to "cultivation" in the "individual adaptability" development ability, to change from emphasizing on "quantity" to promoting "quality" and "innovation" in the "internal adaptability" innovation ability, and to change from "selfsufficiency" to "spillover" in the "external adaptability" scientific research value.
