Abstract:The present study examines college students differences in selfmanagement caused by their differences in certain aspects by conducting a questionnaire survey of 840 students of Nanjing Forestry University and making a comparison of means and a correlation analysis of the results of the survey. The results show that there were significant differences in students selfmanagement caused by gender, student cadre and class atmosphere; that there were great correlations between students selfmanagement and their family backgrounds (parents income and education) as well as their personalities (demand of achievements and internal or external personality). Finally, some corresponding intervention measures are proposed in view of the factors which can be changed through the management of the school.
