Abstract:To optimize the fermentation process of demulsifying bacteria Bacillus mojavensis XH-1, the growth characteristics were investigated to analyze the fermentation kinetics. Based on the characteristics of bacteria XH-1, Logistic equation and LuedekingPiret equation, the kinetic models were established to describe the fermentation features of strain growth, substrate consumption and protein demulsifier generation. The experiment data was processed with Origin 7.5 software to obtain batch fermentation kinetics model parameter. The good agreement of prediction values with the experimental results shows that the proposed kinetic models are suitable for predicting the actual fermentation process.
