Test and analysis on connection force of rice spike

Abstract:To solve the problem of having petioles in the threshing of rice combine harvester, experimental studies are conducted on connection forces between grain and petiole, petiole and branch, and branch and caulis, with expert clamp on the electric and subminiature omnipotent equipment of WDW30005. The effects of breed, position, moisture content and the force of direction on the connection forces are analyzed. The nonlinear regressive equation between moisture content and connecting force is established based on the test results using DPS. The results show that the sticky rice have more petioles in threshing for the same moisture content and have low petioles in lower moisture content of the same breed. The connecting force is higher following the axial direction and lower on the opposite direction.
