Abstract:The behavioral characteristics of crowd in normal and emergency situations were analyzed, and seven typical behavior models of virtual crowd were established. The hierarchy over virtual actor behavior was designed based on the process of people's action judgements. A dynamic avoidance model of the virtual human was established by using the virtual visual and speed density model. By using 9 dimensions collision avoidance, the virtual human's path planning on both static and dynamic obstacles was realized. In allusion to the method of driving the virtual crowd's behavior, the next action state was described through designing the action attributes. Furthermore, the event/response mode of the virtual crowd's action simulation with the production rule is realized. In the end, this behavior model and simulation method are applied to the three-dimensional simulation of crowd urgent escape and good result is obtained.
