Abstract:To accurately predict the time-varying resistance of reinforced concrete members, the research status of mechanical properties of corroded reinforced concrete members were reviewed, and the existing resistance decay models of corroded reinforced concrete beams and columns were investigated and elaborated. The shortcomings of current research and the research directions were pointed out. The results show that there is no consensus on the establishment of structural resistance decay model under the influence of corrosion. Resistance decay research mainly focuses on the evolution characteristics of external macro-mechanical properties of bearing capacity and deformation, while the research on internal micro/micro damage behavior during failure process is relatively rare. The small scale model is mainly used in the test of deteriorated reinforced concrete members, which has certain size effect. Conventional indoor accelerated corrosion is insufficient to meet the need of real simulation of the performance evolution of reinforced concrete members. Based on the artificial environment simulation test platform, more advanced accelerated corrosion tests considering the coupling effect of external load and internal deterioration should be further explored.
