Abstract:Weighted rootmeansquare acceleration(RMSA) of human body was selected as evaluation index, and the car of SANTANA 3000 was selected as testing car. The roughness field testing of G320 road in Zhejiang province was conducted. The full car model of SANTANA 3000 and the road model of G320 testing road were established by Carsim softer ware, and the humanvehicleroad interaction was simulated. The comparison between field testing and simulation testing of G320 road roughness indicates that the RMSA of field and simulation testing has positive correlation(R2=0.913), and simulation evaluation method for asphalt pavement roughness is feasible and more convenient and fast compared to field testing method. The RMSA comes from simulation method also has good linear relationship of international roughness index (IRI) (R2=0.903) and standard deviation (σ) (R2=0.859). The field evaluation method and the simulation method of asphalt pavement roughness are proposed.
