Abstract:To solve the problem of oversize or undersize of handbrake tension, the possible factors were analyzed by tensile test, and the relation curve between handbrake pulling teeth and tension was drawn to analyze the problem of handbrake tensile stability with double nut locking technology. According to the opponent of brake adjustment process and the structure and working principle of three jaw chuck, the structure was optimized based on the existing lock mechanism. CATIA was used to build the optimized model, and Hyper Works was used to analyze the key parts of clamping mechanism. The relatively real vehicle experiment was conducted to compare the former and later test data. The results show that the handbrake tensile stability is obviously improved.
