Abstract:To solve the lack of effective characterization method for the laser partitioned alienation texturing processing on cylinder bore, a partition characterization method was proposed. The characterization parameters were divided into four parts of texturing district parameters characterizing partitioned alienation scheme, mechanical honing parameters characterizing untexturing area, shape parameters characterizing pits geometry and diameter relative error and bottom microscopic roughness evaluating texturing quality. The characterization parameters were deduced to obtain the tribological property and the void volume of texturing surface. The ″single pulse intervals″ process was adopted to prepare cylinder sample. The characterization results show that the parameters can reflect partitioned alienation scheme, surface tribology property and texturing quality successfully.
