Abstract:To establish collision models of processing tomato seeds in seed skin cleaning device and seed sower, based on basic definition of restitution coefficient, a processing tomato seeds restitution coefficient test device was established with FASTCAM-10K Series Model 500 highspeed camera, homemade drop instrument and personal computer. Ligeer No.87-5 was chosen as test material. The results show that the significant factors on normal and tangential restitution coefficients of processing tomato seeds are impact material, drop height and sheet thickness. The L4(23) orthogonal regression combination table was used to establish binary linear regression model of normal and tangential restitution coefficient for drop height and sheet thickness.
