	229	Construction of collateral theory and its guidance on preventive and therapeutic medication for vascular diseases

Based on the theory of “qiyinyangfiveelements”, collateral theory proposes its essential idea of “Yingwei Chengzhi Tiaoping”, which refers to the selfstabilizing and regulation mechanism of vascular endothelium and adventitia. A series of fundamental and clinical research further supports its scientific connotation. The theory defines“microvascular injury” as the common core mechanism of acute myocardial infarction, cerebral infarction and diabetic microangiopathy. Tongxinluo capsule is developed targeting to cure coronary heart disease and angina pectoris. It is effective in protecting blood vessel endothelium, stabilizing vulnerable plaque and relieving angiospasm, and thus treating the above diseases. In the guidance of collateral theory, its prescription is composed featured by “Souti Shutong” referring to seeking and screening vessel from the collateral system to dredge it. Shensong Yangxin capsule takes advantages in treating arrhythmias, featured by simultaneously treating tachyarrhythmia and bradycardia as well as making integrated regulation.
