Abstract：With the monitoring technology of remote ambulatory electrocardiography(AECG), ECG data are transmitted by mobile communication. Since the remote AECG monitoring system is easy to be operated, users in monitoring terminals would be familiar with its manipulation after simple training. Therefore, besides being applied in monitoring critical patients in hospital, more important is that the system can be popularized in primary medical institutions, nonmedical institutions(such as geracomiums) and the population who need longterm ECG monitoring. It has obvious advantages in monitoring irregular paroxysmal arrhythmia and myocardial ischemia, and also valuable in reducing the incidence of cardiovascular events and improving the life quality of patients. This paper summarizes the composition of remote AECG monitoring system, the operating process of AECG examination and writing standards of AECG report.
