461 Data processing method of empirical mode decomposition  on dynamic weighting

To eliminate noises involved in dynamic weighting signal, empirical mode decomposition (EMD) is applied. For the end points of data sequence being usually not the extremes, the upper and lower envelopes swing sharply there, which cause end effect and result in low precision of the sifting results. A new method called the second extremes mirror method is proposed, considering the given antiend-effect method with low precision and strict requirement for data volume. The improved EMD method is adopted in dynamic weighting trial. The results indicate that the precision of this new method is very high, the new anti-end-effect method is the most effective one among the given methods, and the error of weighting can be controlled below 0.8%.

465 Spray distribution uniformity of boom spraying

In order to improve the uniformity of spray distribution and the design of boom spraying, the effects of boom height, nozzle installing angle, distance between nozzles, rotating angles of the boom, vertical and horizontal vibrations of the boom on the variation coefficient of spray distribution are studied through numerical analysis and experiments. The study shows that the variation coefficient of spray distribution can be decreased by increasing the boom height and distance between nozzles. The nozzle installing angles within appropriate range (5° -15°) have little influence on the coefficient of variation, and the variation range of variation coefficient is small while it increases with the rotating angles of the boom in level. Horizontal vibration of the boom has much more influence than the vertical vibration does under the same condition. Increasing the number of nozzles, reducing the distance between nozzles, or increasing the height of the boom can decrease the influence of vertical vibration on the spray distribution significantly, but can not reduce the influence of horizontal vibration.

469 Establishment of mathematical models in high pressure inactivation of soybean lipoxygenase

Based on detailed studies of the kinetics for high pressure inactivation of lipoxygenase in soy milk, two different mathematical models were used to describe the combined pressure-temperature influence on the high pressure inactivation rate constants. Results show that the pressure-temperature influence on the high pressure inactivation rate constants for lipoxygenase in soy milk can be described by either the thermodynamic kinetic model which is based the thermodynamic equation proposed by Hawley or the empirical mathematical model which uses the Eyring equation as a starting point. By comparison, the former is more accurate than the latter.

474 Study on mechanical rotor axis locus based on virtual instrument

Rotor axis rotor. Detailed rotor their frequencies locus is an important basis for estimating the running states and faults of mechanical faults were analyzed and several typical faults and corresponding characteristics of orbits of shaft center line were studied. An axis locus analyzing system based on intelligent virtual control was developed, and the signal acquisition and analysis were realized by using LabVIEW7.0 and transferring the dynamic link library (DLL) function in VC ^++ The results indicate that axis locus, axis location and the wave and spectrum of two orthogonal vibration signals can be real-time displayed, and some common faults of rotating machinery can be diagnosed by using the measurement system.

478 Modeling of vehicle system for ABS hardware-in-loop simulation

A mathematical model for vehicle system was developed through theoretical derivation, empirical formula summary and parametric measurement. The model includes a 7-DOF and 4-wheel model of vehicle braking dynamics, hydraulic circuit system model, brake model, Dugoff tire model and ABS control model. It was built and simulated in the MATLAB/Simulink environment. The ABS controller HIL simulation was implemented on the dSPACE system platform using the vehicle model. The experimental results show that the thresholds of control logic are determined through online parameter modification, and the vehicle system model is validated by ABS road test.

482 Practical algorithm simulation for vehicle side slip angle

Vehicle side slip angle algorithm for VDC system was studied. A 15 DOF vehicle model was built, including 6 DOF of vehicle body, the rotation DOF, vertical movement DOF for each wheel and the steering DOF for front steering wheel. The side slip angles at the center of front axle and rear axle were calculated according to steering wheel angle, lateral acceleration, vehicle yaw rate and its variation. Vehicle side slip angle was calculated according to vehicle yaw rate and the side slip angles at the center of front axle and rear axle. Simulation results prove that this algorithm can accurately calculate the vehicle side slip angle under different road conditions and in a wide range of side slip angles.

486 Manipulating stability of new electro-hydraulic system in tractors

To solve the problem of strong hydraulic pressure impact and pitch oscillation in tractor's hydraulic hitch system, a dynamic pressure feedback loop is proposed. The loop is made up of an accumulator and a damping hole, which are mounted near the hydraulic cylinder of the hydraulic system in the tractor. In this study, the parameter matching of the loop is discussed in detail. The manipulating stability of the new electro-hydraulic system can be improved. The experimental results show that the pitch angle velocity of the tractor and the pressure impact in the hydraulic system are the main factors that influence the manipulating stability of the new electro-hydraulic system, and both are decreased significantly. In conclusion, the new electro-hydraulic system with the dynamic pressure feedback loop is practical, and can be applied in the tractor's hitch system.

490 Design and realization of web-based CAD system in trailer brake

By combining the technologies of JSP and Servlet with secondary development of business CAD system, a CAD system in trailer brake based on B/S and C/S hybrid mode has been built. The system has the functions as optimal design of structure parameter, robust design, virtual testing, and virtual assembly in designing the brake. The frame structure and function modules of the system are discussed in detail. The matching technology of trailer train brake system is introduced in the type selection and brake analysis. The flow chart of the vehicle matching module of the system is given. Taking the braking efficiency as optimum goal, the structure parameters for optimization and the mathematic model of the drum brake are obtained. The optimum design plan of unsymmetrical structures is proposed to realize the even wear of the electromagnet surface and to decrease the revolving tendency.

494 Mechanical properties of micrometer and sub-micrometer SiCp  reinforced AI matrix composites

The tensile and pressure properties of sub-micro and micrometer SiCp reinforced Al matrix composites were investigated to study the effect of SiCp in different scale on the mechanical properties. The results show that SiCp/Al matrix composites exhibit excellent plasticity, and the elongation percentage descends with the increase of the volume fraction of SiCp. Its tensile and compressive strength increase with the augment of the volume fraction. The tensile strength and compressive strength of sub-micrometer SiCp/Al are better than those of micrometer SiCp/Al. The rupture mechanism of sub-micrometer SiCp/Al is that the vacancy zone forms at interface of SiCp/Al and expands in the substrate. The rupture mechanism of micrometer SiCp/Al is the cleavage fracture of SiCp and its expanding in the substrate.

498 Synthesis of 1,2- aceanthrylenedione by catalysis of[ Emim ] Cl - AlCl3 ionic liquid

The Friedel-Crafl acylation of anthracene with oxalyl chloride catalysed by [ Emim ] Cl - AlCl3 ionic liquid to synthesize 1,2 -aeeanthrylenedione, which was used as important fine chemical and functional macromolecule intermediate, was studied. The effects of various reaction conditions on the yield and selectivity of 1,2 - aceanthrylenedione were studied by GC analysis. The results show that the suitable synthesis conditions of the aeylation reaction are as follows : the molar fraction of AlCl3 in [ Emim ] Cl - AlCl3 is 0.67, the mole ratio of [ Emim ] Cl - AlCl3 to anthracene is 2, the mole ratio of oxalyl chloride to anthracene is 2, the reaction temperature is 40 ℃ and the reaction time is 6 h. Under those conditions, the yield of 1,2- aceanthrylenedione is 91.6 % and the selectivity towards 1,2 -aceanthrylenedione is 98.5 %. Furthermore, [ Emim] Cl - AlCl3 has little pollution to environment and can be reused. Pure 1, 2 - aceanthrylenedione was prepared by extraction and recrystalling and the structure of 1,2 - aceanthrylenedione was identified by measuration of melting point, GC/MS, FTIR and ^1H NMR analyses.

502 Analysis of multistage pump shaft fracture

Concerning with the fracture accident of overseas multistage high-pressure hydrocarbon pump shaft used in some chemical plants, by combining the shaft materials and fracture appearance, and using mechanical reliability design theory and methods we calculate and analyze the main fracture reasons. The calculated results show that the pump head selection is too high, making the shaft with a large integrated working stress. In addition there exists local stress concentration, together with chloride ion corrosion, so the shaft reliability is lower, leading to fatigue failure and fracture. Accordingly, the corresponding improved measures are proposed.

507 Numerical simulation of interior flow field in 90°curved duct based on SMAC method
GuiShaobo, Cao Shuliang-
Based on the SMAC method and staggered-mesh technology, a numerical algorithm used for simulating incompressible flow was developed in the body-fitted curvilinear coordinate. The Navier-Stokes equation was solved with contravariant velocities and pressure as unknown variables for the interior incom- pressible flow of the three dimensional 90°curved duct of square cross-section with radius Rr = 2.3. The results indicate that the SMAC method has strong forecasting ability to the flow of duct with strong curvature, and can accurately simulate the mainstream and secondary flow. So the validity and reliability of the present algorithm are proved.

512 Numerical simulation and experimental study on a heat pipe biomass gasifier

A novel heat pipe biomass gasifier was developed to improve the heating value of gas produced. Based on the mass balance, energy balance and dynamics of chemical reactions, a kinetic model was developed to simulate the process of biomass gasification and experiments were performed. By testing and simulation it shows that the kinetic model is consistent with testing results. By comparing the results of the gas composition and heating value with those produced by direct heat supply using air, it is found that hydrogen content in gas composition produced in the heat pipe biomass gasifier is approximately ten times of that in direct heat supply gasification using air.

516 Semi-dynamic routing algorithm based on step-by-step network topology in wireless sensor networks

A semi-dynamic routing algorithm was proposed to overcome the shortcomings that the topology management energy consumption sharply increases with the enlargement of network scale in dynamic routing algorithm. The algorithm uses a step-by-step network topology whose basic unit is a cluster. After the coverage of clusters is determined by the first order radio model, a cluster to station multi-hop gradient field is established. In the gradient field, an orderly and directional data transmission mode is applied to achieve the shortest distance from information link to base station. Then a cluster-heads cycling mechanism for balancing energy consumption was created in the cluster. The quantitative analysis of energy consumption and simulation in specific scenes show that the algorithm can greatly reduce the energy consumption in topology management and data transmission, and the algorithm outperforms LEACH in energy-saving particularly when the network scale increases dramatically.

521 Trust model based on group recommendation in  multi-hop wireless network

The concept of group recommendation (GR) is presented. Based on group recommendation, a novel dynamic trust model for multi-hop wireless network is proposed, which overcomes the disadvantages of trust models existed in current movable self-organized network. More precise trust judgment for the cooperation and communication between nodes can be provided through integrated evaluation on the node's behavior in model. Furthermore, the status change of trust relationship can be revealed, and the integrative trust criterion between the nodes can be established effectively. This new method can stand against the cheating behavior from hostile nodes preferably, which solves the problem of blind trust effectively during the authentication process in multi-hop wireless network.

525 Best-case exact analysis in real-time scheduling
Yan Li, Zhang Jingying-
The best and worst response times on which jitter analysis was relied were calculated. An assumption was made that a task' s deadline had to be smaller than or equal to its period when the best response time was calculated. The exact analysis derived with level-i busy period could be used to compute the best-case response times of periodic tasks under fixed-priority preemptive scheduling and arbitrary phasing with deadlines longer than the periods. The exact analysis proved that there was an optimal completion instant for an execution of the task. By constructing the expansion job in the level-i busy period, the algorithm of computing best-case response time of tasks with deadline greater than its period was obtained by the analysis of the optimal completion instant of the expansion job. The correctness of the algorithm was proved.

529 Context- aware pervasive service platform PerServ

The cooperation of pervasive services is studied. A context-aware service platform PerServ is proposed in terms of characteristic of context information. User submits requirement through the portal, then system parses user's task and appoints the task to available pervasive service. The platform is able to require, manage and use context effectively. The service composition process considers the service function while service execution process builds service paths based on the context of service and dynamically involves the service path in accordance with the change of context, so that to satisfy user's requirement. PerServ employs agent technology to achieve the function. Service agent is used in device management and service registration. It also receives instructions and invokes related service, which serves as an intermediation among services.

533 SBORA routing algorithm based on SoRCA architecture

In view of the existing problem that traffic load is not balanced and the routing is not robust in the routing algorithm of SoRCA ( self-organizing redundancy cellular architecture) for wireless sensor networks( WSN), a new routing algorithm named SBORA is proposed. According to the structured topology of SoRCA, hops at different directions are calculated in optimal route from source to destination in SBORA. With the help of characters of hops, one can find rapidly a route from source to destination among multiple optimal routes by policy of the secondary probability routing choosing. According to characters of hops, new routing is chosen when failed sending occurs. Analysis and simulation results show that SBORA based on SoRCA has better performance on traffic load balance and robust.

537 Design method for two-way slabs with one-way arrangement and  tension of prestressing tendons

Considering the problem that prestressing tendons in two-way slabs can not be arranged and tensioned in two ways, a design idea that prestressing tendons in two-way slabs are arranged and tensioned in one way is presented. Some design points are given including the calculation of carrying capacity and prestress effects, and the checking computations of crack and deformation. The analysis is performed for a two-way slab simply supported at four sides with one-way arrangement of prestressing tendons. The influences of arrangement types of prestressing tendons to its ultimate loads, distribution of primary moment and secondary moment, crack and deformation are discussed. The results show that when the total number is constant, the more prestressing tendons are arranged in center strip, the better it is for slabs.

541 Torsion experiment and analysis on steel-encased  concrete composite beams

In order to study the torsion behavior of steel-encased concrete composite beams, experiments were conducted on two specimens with varied stir-up ratios subjected to pure torsion and on three specimens with varied ratios of torsion to bending moment. The torsion ratio, torsion-strain relationship, strain distribution for steel and concrete, and the strain distribution along slab width direction were all measured. Experiments showed that the torsions accord with three stage deformation rule and the rupture of concrete board conforms with common reinforced concrete. On the basis of experiment, according to the elastic and plastic theory and analysis on the bearing capacity by using spatial truss model with variable angle, cracking torque and ultimate torque of composite beams are obtained. The results are in good agreement with measured ones.

545 Limit properties for divergence of Markov processes

A sequence of random variables take values in the finite alphabet set, assuming a nonhomogeneous Markov chains under a probability measure P and a homogeneous Markov chains under a probability measure Q. The AEP for Markov information and the uniform integrability of random variable sequences are applied to give the limit properties for the divergence of Markov processes and the limit is computed. An extension of the conclusion for the case of m order Markov chains is given.

549 Global exponential stabilization of Camassa -Holm equation  under period boundary conditions

The stabilization of a nonlinear dispersive shallow water wave equation, the Camassa - Holm equation ut -uxxt + 3uux = 2uxuxx + uuxxx is studied. By adding a feedback control term -k (u -uxx - [ u ] ) ( k 〉 0) on this equation, the solution to the controlled closed-loop system with the period boundary conditions u (0, t) = u ( 1, t) = ux (0, t) = ux ( 1, t) = 0, is proved to decay exponentially to a constant in H^1-norm sense. [ u ] denotes the total volume of water. The action of the "feedback" term- k( u -uxx - [ u] ) consists of balancing the level of water, conserving at the same time its total volume of water. The periodic boundary conditions correspond to a circular movement. Kato's theory guarantees the local existence of solution to the closed-loop system in space H^2 p. By the H^1 global exponential stability, the solution to the closed-loop system is shown to exist globally in space H^1 p. The results may contribute to further theoretical research or engineering applications.
