Abstract:To solve the problem of strong vibration of the pilot-operated steam trap under the conditions of high temperature, high pressure and high flow rate, the dynamic analysis of a pilot-operated steam trap valve plug components was carried out based on spring force and fluid-structure coupling effect by sequence coupling technique. The dynamic equations of the valve plug components with static and pre-stress conditions were established. The frequencies and vibration modes were obtained by ANSYS/Workbench code. The effect trends of the length-diameter ratio and restraint modes on the modal frequency were discussed. The results show that the pre-stress conditions have slight impact on the natural frequencies and vibration modes. The frequency is increased with the increase of diameter. The maximum frequency is obtained by double-end-fixed with the minimum value by fixing at one end and free.
