Abstract:With a tractorsemitrailer as research object, the hydraulic regenerative braking system was installed on the semitrailer axle to output power. To avoid the impact on vehicle by sudden exhaustion of accumulator energy, a control strategy was proposed. The longitudinal force of fifth wheel and the hydraulic energy release were analyzed. The torque of hydraulic motor was exported according to the SOC value of accumulator and the gear ratio of vehicle, and the output torque under fixed gear was constant. To reduce the longitudinal impact on the fifth wheel, the hydraulic auxiliary driving mode was exited at appropriate time. The bypass throttle valve type circuit was used to adjust rotation rate of hydraulic motor. The cosimulation results on the AMESim and MATLAB/Simulink platform show that the output torque of motor and the longitudinal force of fifth wheel are steady. Compared with the vehicle without auxiliary driving, the control method can reduce the longitudinal force of fifth wheel by 11.40% and increase the vehicle acceleration by 18.37%.
