Abstract:The nonlinear numerical simulation of the compression performance of reinforcement high strength concretefilled tubular steel was conducted by reinforced concrete filled steel tubular axial compression test and analysis of ABAQUS. The deformation capacity and the ultimate load capacity and failure modes of high strength concretefilled tubular steel were investigated under axial and bias compression. The loaddisplacement curves and the deformation form of numerical simulation were obtained by analysis of ABAQUS. The influence of reinforcement on the deformation and ultimate load capacity was analyzed. The results show that the column failure modes of reinforcement high strength concretefilled tubular steel and concretefilled tubular steel are similar, while the ultimate load capacity and the deformation performance are improved by reinforcement.With the increasing of eccentricity, the ultimate bearing capacity and the late stability bearing capacity of concretefilled steel tubular column and reinforced concretefilled steel tubular column are gradually reduced, but the reducing amplitude of bearing capacity for the reinforced concretefilled steel tube is smaller than that for concretefilled steel tube.
