Abstract:Appropriate surface texture can improve hydrodynamic lubrication performance for kinematic pairs.A geometrical model of multi-textured surface constructed by multi-arcs and triangles is established while a hydrodynamics control equation is preserved.Using CFD software FLUENT,the hydrodynamic lubrication performance of multi-textured surface is computed.It shows that the multi-textured surface performs better compared with the independent-textured surface.The former gives a more appropriate pressure distribution and thus produces a higher thrust force.
