Abstract:A novel single-phase drive bending rotation ultrasonic motor is developed. The principle of the motor is discussed. The motor's FEM model is estalished. The key working parameters are calculated by modal analysis. The working process simulation is carried out by transient analysis. The motor is manufactured based on simulation results. The result shows that the motor has comparatively high rotating speed and large stall torque because it's driven by single phase voltage. This motor can realize oblique mechanical transmission by very simple construction, and the drive is very precise. So this motor can serve as a precision transmission organ.
