Parameter optimization of ejection mechanism of ordered transplanter for plotted rice-seedling

Abstract:A new rotary ordered transplanter for plotted rice-seedling was proposed, and the equipment's working principle and structure were introduced. The motion characteristic of the cam-lever ejection mechanism, as the key components of the equipment, was analyzed. The relational expressions of rotation angle of cam and swing angle of lever with the mechanism parameters such as stroke of mandril, position of lever, length of the input force arm, length of the output force arm, and etc. , were deduced. In order to get the minimum rotation angle of cam with the stroke of fixed mandril, the optimization model of the cam-lever ejection mechanism was established. The best group parameters were optimized by genetic algorithm based on Matlab, and feasible value range of these parameters were shown in graph model. It provides a fast and reliable means for designing the cam-lever ejection mechanism.
